Mel says her best trade was selling preg-tested mixed-bred heifers as red-taggers. She bought straight back in the following week - on the same market - buying replacement Angus heifers for a 68%
She is now in the process of moving them up a class to a preg-tested heifer.
New opportunities
Mel is always looking for new opportunities in the market, using the KLR calculators to determine what is overpriced or underpriced.
